The work Traveling Souls reflects how I experience life. I see life as a spiritual journey in which we are a soul with a physical experience in superposition. Superposition is the infinite amount of potential pathways in existence which become defined by conscious choice. This idea has let me to the pathway of developing spiritual wisdom with love as guiding force.
Almost all the material for the artwork was captured in the dessert. I wanted to visualise pathways that led into the universe and I discovered that sand can have queut universe-like shapes when you capture it in motion, so I took photo's of drift sand and combined these with the desert dunes and night skies.
